Ayurvedic Remedies for Paralysis

Paralysis can affect face, hands, and legs. This simple and proven remedy can cure paralysis. You can also try other remedies told earlier along with this for more effective treatment.

Ingredients:

  • Five-leaved chaste tree / Vitex negundo / Sindhuvara (सिन्धुवार) / Nirgundi (निर्गुंडी) / Vavili, Vayili (వావిలి, వాయిలి) leaves
  • Guduchi / Tinospora cordifolia / Amritavalli (अमृतवल्ली) / Geloy (गिलोय) / Thippa theega (తిప్ప తీగ)
  • Holy basil / Ocimum sanctum/ Tulsi (तुलसि / తులసి) leaves
  • Carom seeds or thymol seeds
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic
  • Ginger

Preparation:
Collect the above ingredients in equal quantities, crush them in a mortar and pestle, and make paste. Make tablets out of this paste in the size of a pea. Dry them in shade and store in a glass bottle.

Usage:
Take a tablet one hour before meals in the morning and night.

Also, powder the black peeper, add some water, and make paste in a mortar and pestle. Apply this paste to the affected area as a pack.

Perform Vata Nashak Mudra. If the patient can’t perform it, keep the hands in that position with the help of others. Do this daily for few minutes.

Note – Important: When a person gets paralysis, immediately collect the root of cowhage or velvet bean (Mucuna pruriens /Kapikacchu (कपिकच्छु) / Kiwanch (किवांच) or Konch (कोंच) / Dhuradhagondi (దురదగొండి)), crush it, and squeeze the mixture in a cloth to collect the juice. Put 5-6 of these drops in the ear opposite to the side affected. For example, if the left hand is affected, put the drops in the right ear. This will suppress the paralysis immediately and resolves.
